Hidden 
Spicemas is Grenada’s biggest national festival. It is held on the Monday and Tuesday of the second week in August. Once held in February, in 1981 carnival was moved to August.
Grenadians at home and abroad, as well as visitors to the island anticipate this event all year round. The excitement begins weeks before Carnival Monday and Tuesday. The main events are Carnival Queen Show, Soca Monarch, Groovy Monarch, Panorama and Dimanche Gras. GRENLEC's contribution assists in defraying the substantial costs associated with hosting this event.
