Ursula Baptiste Day Care Center began operations in 1991 babysitting children three months to three years in the ground level of a private home. It was formerly known as Grand Roy Day Care Center and renamed in August of 2004. When the organisers decided that the Day Care Center needed to be relocated, they moved across the street. In 2007, GRENCODA requested GRENLEC’s assistance to construct a walkway and an outdoor play area for the children. Seeing how beneficial and how increasingly important this was for the young children, GRENLEC approved the request to sponsor the venture.
