The GRENLEC St. Marks Football Tournament opened July 9. There was good showing of uniformed teams and evidence of stronger organisation. A number of exhibition matches also formed part of the opening highlights. For over ten years, GRENLEC has been the sole sponsor of the activity, bringing a keen sense of friendly rivalry and enthusiasm among the young and not-so-youmg each year. We are acutely aware of the balance we need to maintain in ensuring both urban and rural communities benefit from our assistance.
